MARDI GRAS AND SCOTCHMANS HILL

Scotchmans Hill had just locked in their partnership as the official wine of Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. The brief was to create a launch film as part of a campaign to show Scotchmans Hill’s stance on equality, as well as set a benchmark and tone for what the brand could achieve from a film standpoint.

We developed a script that paid homage to LGBTIQ+ themes in Australian media, and utilised radio personalities Tom and Olly in a sketch comedy style commercial piece. We chose a rural location in the deep west outside of Melbourne, and let the dried up farmland of western victoria speak for itself on a scorching December day.
